FLASHBACKS, my irregular "lucky dip" where I just reach into my drawers of old Australian basketball stuff and transcribe or post whatever I find for you.

The time frame is from about 1965 up, with interesting stops along the way for you, I trust.

IT'S MINE: Melbourne East's Fred Fegan rebounds watched by Church's Lindsay Gaze, far right.

SA GOLD! North guard Melvin Need surprises Sturt's David Smyth by passing.

NBL CHAMPIONS, 1986: Adelaide 36ers' 24-2 "Invincibles".

DOLLAR IS MONEY: Sturt's Carol Dollery fires off a shot, circa 1984.

WHERE'S THE BALL? Forestville's Steve Wallace and Laurie Harcus can't find it.

GOLDIE OLDIE: West's Glenn Marsland snares the rebound from Paratels' Phil Bridge.

FIRST BREAKERS: From left, Mike Homik, Pero Cameron, Dillon Boucher, Phill Jones of NZ's NBL debutant.

AUSSIE U18 CHAMPS, 1965: Victoria's winning team in Adelaide. Pic courtesy of Greg Peck.

SPECTRE OF THE SPECTRES: Super US baller Bill Palmer at the Spectres

NBL CHAMPIONS 1987: Brisbane's Bullets celebrate their title win. Um, where's Leroy?
