Opals for Boomers

BIG news today in WNBL ranks with Melbourne Boomers revealing they have secured London Olympian Jenna O'Hea for the next two seasons.

There's more to come too with Liz Cambage and Louella Tomlinson strongly tipped to form a frontcourt that will bring the Boomers right back into Championship calculations.

Tomlinson starred last season with Perth Lynx and currently is playing in Europe.

Cambage, a London and Rio Olympian who threw down the first women's dunk at a Games in 2012, was a superstar of our league and needs no introduction to Boomers or WNBL fans.

OPALS TO BOOMERS: Jenna O'Hea, Louella Tomlinson, Liz Cambage

O'Hea today confirmed her new deal on Twitter, saying: "Very happy and excited to announce I've signed a contract with the @MelbourneBoomers for the next two years. #imcominghome"

The likelihood is Melbourne will give fans a chance to wrap their minds around regaining O'Hea before the two additional bombshells are dropped to rock the WNBL.
