*FLASHBACKS, my irregular "lucky dip" where I usually reach into my drawers of old Australian basketball stuff to transcribe or post whatever I find for you and as we watch what I believe the most talented Illawarra Hawks team of all time, let's briefly take a trip back to 1986.*

I'm not saying the 2024-25 version is the greatest Hawks outfit of all time, because there IS a championship team in Illawarra's history - the longest history in the NBL by the way, as its last existing inaugural club.

But there is a genuine excitement about this current crop of Hawkies and rightly so. But this is "Flashbacks" so let's jump back to NBL Round 5, 1986. Enjoy...
