Christmas TV bliss, but serious graphic content
Tweet
IT'S Christmas Eve, what better time to present some recent fun times the television coverage of the WNBL and NBL have given us? No, not talking unnecessary replays robbing us of live action or of commentary from a studio that doesn't notice a tech foul. No. We're talking Christmas bliss, but be warned, it's graphic content.
Let's start with ladies first.

COULD the person responsible for pre-game graphics please talk to the person doing in-game graphics and decide the correct spelling of Ms Aokuso's name? Even Zitina looks confused.
And now, let's alter NBL history, a not uncommon television practice...
CAN someone let the Wildcats know Perth didn't win its first NBL championship in 1990 after all? Apparently it was the Brisbane Bullets where Derek was playing in 1990...
Here's a fun sequence from last night's Melbourne United-Tasmania JackJumpers game...

LEFT: Nick Marshall scores for the JJs and receives a bonus free throw. RIGHT: While they huddle, what the heck, let's give United three points instead.

YEAH, that looks right, 10-6. RIGHT: No, oops, actually we might finally have it right.
Oh, and here's a flashback to the good old days...

LEFT: Here's Coach Andrew Gaze, having trouble hearing. RIGHT: Hearing just fine now.
OK, let's wish you a Merry Christmas with this fabulous advertisement for the WNBL which proves either it pays to check twice when you "cut and paste" or why our women's league cannot be missed!
See what you've been missing?
