Time Out-NO FLOP ZONE: Finals, Boomers, Hoops Fest

OK. The NBL is back in action and so are we at the Time Out-NO FLOP ZONE, Joey Wright returning from Melbourne nursing an injured back but with plenty of insight and sharp observations for our weekly podcast, and we have considerable ground to cover.

Much water has flowed under the bridge since our last pod, with congratulations in order for Townsville Fire in claiming the club's fifth WNBL championship.

How about those Boomers, managing to successfully turn back those super-powerhouse Guam and Philippines teams? And how good was it/is it to see Mitch Creek back wearing the green-and-gold?

Should Bryce Cotton be next to wear the green and gold? Joey and I weigh in on that growing issue while also reviewing Kendric Davis' reaction to losing the MVP vote.

Did Javale McGee have a better caase for all-NBL "Team" selection?

Peteri has petered out, Adam cannot afForde to go on and Brisbane also is in the market for a new NBL coach.

We discuss it all, plus also take a much deeper look into how a Hoops Fest featuring four teams representing Australia, New Zealand, Sudan and the Imports would fare instead of what currently exists, or any of those East-West or North-South All Star Game revisits.

Which teams will live on in the NBL championship hunt beyond this week?
