Time Out-NO FLOP ZONE: Blowing the whistle on huge issue

WHY has virtually every NBL coach at some point challenged this season's officiating if it's been as hunky-dory as league management would have us believe? The coach, Joey Wright and I examine this pressing issue right off the top of this week's Time Out-NO FLOP ZONE podcast.

It definitely was a full-on Round 12, with inconsistent officiating, a suspension and a couple of overtime thrillers, Melbourne United on the losing end of both.

Nick Rakocevic’s suspension headlines a week where player quality may have officially surpassed the umpiring standards, the 36ers' import clashing off-the-ball with United's Finn Delany.

Melbourne and Adelaide served up a wild overtime classic, Sydney’s weekend impressed, Tasmania keeps humming, and we dig into why swearing has become such a talking point in Australian basketball.

We also are prompted by our viewer's topics to review the Mitch Creek/36ers storyline, whether teams should be training at night, who manages a “hot hand” properly, and whether Stu Lash has been given a free pass.

And of course — building our team, coaching moves, and Match of the Week.

It's all here, with considerably more issues up for discussion, and all you need do to access it right now is click this banner link below:

But only audio means you miss out on the fact neither Joey nor I have any phantom ties with clubs or managements...
