IT'S 2-all for the NBL Championship and it all comes down now to a single Game 5 Grand Final between Illawarra and Melbourne in Wollongong on Sunday, as Brad Rosen and I go through it and also so much more on the newsfront in this week's Brad&Boti podcast.
NBL: Breakers have a Matt finish
TOOK a little longer than expected when we told readers here during Mody Maor's farewell season as head coach of New Zealand Breakers that the NBL club was in dire financial strife, despite predictable contrary remarks by former owner Matt Walsh, which a lazy NewsCorp seized on as gospel.
Time Out-NO FLOP ZONE: Can the Hawks claim NBL Title #2?

WHAT is going on in the NBL Final? Can Illawarra or Melbourne graft a home win at all? It's too late for United but on this week's Time Out-NO FLOP ZONE podcast, Joey Wright and I examine what the Hawks must do to buck this unprecedented trend in Sunday's Game 5.
NBL: Hawks show heart to force Game 5
ALL season Illawarra's depth has been much vaunted but never was that more on show than tonight as it forced the NBL Championship Series into a deciding Grand Final Game 5 on Sunday, Will Hickey leading the Hawks to a gutsy, brave and ultimately soaring 80-71 Game 4 win in Melbourne.
NBL: Hawks given the White-out
JACK White early and Matthew Dellavedova late combined in Wollongong today to steal Grand Final Game 3 and take a firm grip on the NBL Championship Series for an always professional United unit, as Illawarra bungled and blew its opportunity after leading by as many as 10 in the final quarter, succumbing 77-83.

WHAT a week this has been, fuelling our Brad&Boti podcast with so much ball for Brad Rosen and I to disseminate, starting with Bendigo winning its third WNBL championship, closing with Tyler Harvey's game-winner and with a ton of stuff in-between, including Adam Caporn's Boomers appointment!
Time Out-NO FLOP ZONE: Who's winning the NBL, and much more

THIS week on our Time Out-NO FLOP ZONE podcast, 3-time NBL Coach of the Year Joey Wright and I dive deep into the Grand Final Series, analysing Game 1 and Game 2 of Melbourne-Illawarra and previewing what’s to come in Games 3 and 4 ... and 5?
NBL: Harvey winner evens title series
ILLAWARRA import Tyler Harvey has hit his share of big shots during his NBL career but none bigger than the triple which tonight tied the Championship Series at 1-1 after his foul on the previous play put Ian Clark at the stripe for three free throws which gave Melbourne the lead with 10.4 seconds remaining.
NBL: Hawks dumbstruck. Try some Moonstruck
THERE's a great line by Cher in the movie Moonstruck when she replies to a declaration of love from Nicolas Cage's character by slapping his face twice and yelling at him: "Snap out of it!" Ahead of tomorrow's Grand Final Game 2 of the NBL's best-of-five Championship Series, it's a reaction the Illawarra Hawks could definitely use.
WNBL: April Fools, then its Onward and Upward
THE second greatest joy behind Bendigo Spirit yesterday claiming its third WNBL championship is the fact all lovers of this league can now look forward with optimism to April 2 when new ownership under the guidance of CEO Jennie Sager takes over control of this sleeping giant.
