ROUND ABOUT: NBL 21
THERE was a time when the NBL was full of great shooters.
Rankings #22 ... and that's all
IF you thought Round 20 was something else, Round 21 of the NBL will sort the men from the boys - and that's before what should be an epic WNBL Grand Final re-match between Bendigo and Townsville.
Clarke and McLeod - a dynamic duo
WELL that was easy. Rotnei and Gordei were the stars of February in the NBL.
ROUND ABOUT: NBL20/WNBLPRELIM
GORDIE McLeod and Shawn Dennis are not very likely to figure highly in Coach of the Year voting.
Rankings #21 ... and the bare minimum
THE Kings at full strength to host Perth, Gary Ervin going back to Wollongong in pursuit of his first win at The Sandpit in opposition colors, and another Dandenong-Townsville WNBL preliminary final - it's a big round coming up.
Wright then. That's that
OK. That'll be the end of that then. No-one did anything to anyone, and anyone who says different knows nothing about anything.
ROUND ABOUT: NBL19/WNBLSEMIS
HOW good did most of the Heritage Round throwback uniforms look on our NBL teams last round?
Beyond lunacy
REALLY? That’s how we leave this week? Joey Wright’s charge still not heard and no end in sight?
Rankings #20 ... and usual suspects
WAS just chatting with a few of my journo colleagues at The Advertiser here in Adelaide and saddened to hear their perceptions of the NBL haven’t changed greatly, the Wildcats-36ers’ aftermath a case-in-point.
It takes two to tangle
IT’S good to see the NBL can learn from previous mistakes.
