Kings sign a new Colonel
SYDNEY now looks likely to back new playmaking import Jesse Sanders - no relation to Patrick - with a second American option from the SEABL competition.
Halls, balls and new smalls
ONE of the less pressing but no less important issues for the new NBL to address will be the structure of its Hall of Fame.
Time for Kings of the Kings
REALLY looking forward to seeing how the Sydney Kings celebrate their historic 25th season in the NBL this year.
Andrew is as good as we get
WHAT you see is what you get with Andrew Gaze - part basketball royalty, part dufus, part deep-thinker, part curiosity.
Did you know? 1, 2, 3...
DID you know new Opals coach Brendan Joyce is hoping Lauren Jackson - our No.1 player and, if carrying flags at Olympics is any gauge, a future FIBA Hall of Famer - might suit for the Oceania Series with New Zealand in August.
Did you know? A, B, C...
DID you know that A - Abby Bishop - is back on the market and will overnight become the WNBL's most sought free agent?
Random dribbling: Mecca on the move
LOOK-OUT Melbourne. Forget it Townsville. Perth? Nup. Canberra is the "mecca" of basketball in Australia.
Put KB on the import trail

Get core right and she'll be apples
MARK Bradtke hated Tony Ronaldson and Brian Goorjian with such a passion, he went out of his way to avoid his Melbourne basketball contemporaries.
Random dribbling: Weighing in
HOLD your horses there Hawks fans. My latest insider-trading has Stevie Weigh shooting the rock with Cairns Taipans next season.
