PLAYERS, coaches on the move - the WNBL has had a big week and over in the NBL, that man Bryce Cotton has just kept on keeping on, delighting Brad&Boti podcast colleague Brad Rosen and Perth Wildcats fans. There is much on which to pontificate with all these comings and goings.
WNBL: It's Great Scott, 17 years later
LONG before he suffered the ignominy of being unceremoniously sacked as Adelaide 36ers NBL coach, Scott Ninnis revealed his personal principles by rejecting an opportunity to be elevated to Adelaide Lightning head coach after the WNBL club's ownership sacked Chris Lucas. Today Ninnis was confirmed as Lightning's new "interim" coach.

YOU know flopping is banned at our weekly Time Out podcast with three-time NBL Coach of the Year Joey Wright and myself, but there's plenty to consider as we review some of the subbing that has borderline reached pandemic stages, with several NBL coaches afflicted.

CHRISTMAS is just around the corner but it will be here quicker than you might expect. Now is the time to hit your local bookstore to buy the perfect gift for lovers of a story of courage and perserverance, intertwined with the history of Australia's Boomers. WNBL: Thirst for Hurst bubble burst
WHEN is an assistant ready to step into a head coaching role? It's always a gamble but what club "moves on" a highly-successful head coach to replace him with a prospect who most importantly fills a gender-specific requirement? Adelaide Lightning did, and yesterday its experiment with Nat Hurst ended when she was sacked from her WNBL job.
NBL: Look out! We could soon be Bryceless
PERTH Wildcats wizard Bryce Cotton is going through an almost unbelievably extraordinary scoring phase, following last week's 59-point haul against NZ with a cool 40 in the loss to Illawarra, then another 49 in the road win at Adelaide for 148 points (average 49.3) in his past three games.
Time Out-NO FLOP ZONE: A Great talks about the Greats

WITH regular podcast partner Joey Wright taking a well-earned break - our 25-minutes a week pod can be extraordinarily debilitating! - this round's Time Out-NO FLOP ZONE features a very special guest panellist with whom I get to relive some of the very best of the NBL.
Brad&Boti: The birthday boy is back!
.png)
WE'RE back this week after a quick respite while Brad&Boti podcast co-host Brad Rosen recovered from his landmark milestone birthday celebrations. And we're not holding back. Should Adelaide Lightning fire coach Nat Hurst? Are the Perth Wildcats selfish?
NBL: The Bryce is Right ... and Sensational Too
IF he hadn't done it already, yesterday Perth Wildcats superstar Bryce Cotton cemented himself amid the NBL's all-time greats, topped James Crawford's club record for single-game points and turned on a magnificent, magical, memorable 59-point solo performance against New Zealand Breakers.
