SATURDAY, November 14. If you aren’t already ahead of the game and have Saturday’s date circled in your calendar, do it now to mark 2020’s best social day for basketball lovers.

Transition Sports Adelaide will host its first Family Day at Titanium Security Arena – ancestral home of basketball in South Australia – and everyone is invited.

It tips off at 1pm and will run until 4, with a sausage sizzle, plus a jumping castle and face-painting for the kids, not to mention shooting games, which, oops, we just mentioned!

This is a day to chill, have fun and relax with the whole family. It’s also an opportunity for those hardy parents who support their children in their endeavours to become the best players they can be, to also enjoy some of the fruits of those commitments.

Mingle with the coaching staff, maybe try your hand at the sport and the best news is it’s all free.
