*FLASHBACKS, my irregular "lucky dip" where I just reach into my drawers of old Australian basketball stuff and transcribe or post whatever I find for you.

JUST reached into my filing cabinet and, VOILA! I have the original 36ers' home-game program from Round 2 of the 1986 NBL season.

That was the "Year of the Invincibles" but this program contains so much more valuable information. There was a WNBL game as part of the TRIPLE-header at Apollo Stadium and between Coburg Cougars and North Adelaide Rockets.

The WNBL wasn't even the WNBL yet, still known as the NWBL. And check out those lineups, and also the teams for the WBC match between South Adelaide Panthers and Launceston Lions.

The WBC evolved into the women's division of the SEABL and now is part of NBL1.
