*FLASHBACKS, my irregular "lucky dip" where I just reach into my drawers of old Australian basketball stuff and transcribe or post whatever I find for you.*

OK, technically I didn't reach into a drawer or even for a shelf to find the program to the 1964 Australian (Men's) Championship at Forestville Stadium.

Blog contributor Reinis Dancis sent it along for me and having attended the tournament myself (albeit in a pram ... ahem) to watch one of my brothers play, it brought back a lifetime of memories.

Check out the players, the pen portraits, there's something here for everyone who loves the game and its rich history. I found Kevin Sugars in the Queensland team, for example, Dave Claxton, plus a holy host of others! Love it.
