BRAD Rosen and I go at it, talking NBL, WNBL and even a bit of Opals away in France for the Tokyo Olympic's final qualifying series.

The four teams heading for WNBL playoffs all have injury concerns and some of them are fairly serious.

And in the NBL, Brisbane and New Zealand are heading for one hell of a confrontation, with a place in the playoffs at stake, on Friday.

Like officiating which throws a tech foul on a player for showing too much emotion after a dunk ... in a round which is ALL about emotion. 

First, the emotion of Kobe Bryant's passing, plus the emotion generated by the league's historic first Indigenous Round and a dude gets teched for showing a bit of emotion? For Naismith's sake.

Then there's the infamous tweet out of the Sydney Kings' head office aimed at Perth's indigenous outfit. Oh my. Quite the week!
