LOOK-OUT! This is a massive WNBL round for playoff contenders Southside, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Bendigo with most of them opposed and several season-series very much on the line. The fate of every team in the hunt not named Townsville will be determined in Round 13 and most assuredly will be unlucky for some.

First up tonight, Melbourne (10-7) hosts Perth (9-8), their season series tied at 1-1, both previously scoring away wins.

The Boomers come in off a two-point loss to Southside, Perth off a home welt at the hands of Bendigo which, at 7-9 is the outsider to make the post-season.

The Spirit should pick up a home win over Canberra, and then also entertain Melbourne, their season-series also at a perilous 1-1.

Southside (10-6) is at Sydney (10-8), which it leads 1-0 in their season-series, making this clash essential for the Flames. The Flyers then move on to first-placed Townsville (12-5) which previously lost at home to Southside before flogging it in Melbourne. The result? The season-series between the clubs currently #1 and #2 is at 1-1.

Adelaide at home to Canberra is the battle to avoid the bomb shelter so still of importance.

The Caps also host Townsville before Southside hosts Perth. Their season-series? It is tied at 1-1.  

Yep. Round 13 will be unlucky for some, for sure.

ROUND 13 TIPS
Unlucky to lose last round to Flyers, Melbourne should outhustle Perth.
With a Final Four shot still on the cards, Bendigo must beat Canberra.
A third bout yet to come, Sydney will tie the series 1-1 over Southside.
The Fire will all but clinch the regular season c'ship by beating Flyers.
Both teams now up-and-down, but odds favour Lightning over Canberra.
Bendigo capable of a Boomers upset but leaning toward a Melbourne win.
Tough run for the Caps and hosting Townsville unlikely to unduly worry Fire.
If Perth lost to Boomers, Southside can end its season. Odds suggest it.
